KRYSTOL O'ROURKE
Krystol has enjoyed a lifelong love affair with all things green and growing. She had a successful career as a physician and adjunct professor with Wake Forest and UNC Schools of Medicine, where she was consistently recommending the benefits of spending time outdoors. After 25 years in medicine, she followed her heart (and green thumb), by going back to school to study horticulture at North Carolina State University and exploring some of the most magnificent gardens around the world.
When she isn’t in the garden, you can find her spending time enjoying her other outdoor activities including sailing, horseback riding, and traveling the globe with her teenage son, dear friends, and loved ones.
KATIE PHILLIPS
A knack for service, and a deep love of people led Katie to a two decades long career in nursing and medical management. While serving as the principal designer for her medical office upfit, she discovered the connection between an inspired workplace and a deep sense of wellbeing that pushed her to further investigate exactly what it takes to create that feeling at home. She experimented with different art mediums, and eventually established her own e-commerce business creating custom artwork based on the idea that our homes should be a reflection of our personality.
On weekends, she can be found scouring estate sales, flea markets, and antique shops looking for the perfect piece for her client’s designs when she isn’t creating beauty at her Raleigh oasis.
